Sea of Galilee
Our day began with Mass at the Mount of Beatitudes, where Fr Chris spoke about our invitation to “come and see” . The challenge of this invitation is to remember it is not a solo journey or a situation of power over people but rather enabling others to work with you. We were reminded of the image mod the field hospital where we work with and for others rather then just doing what we are told to do.
The whole idea of everything being ‘HOLY’ was explored. Things of note where the fact that every where we are God is except where we choose not to see him. We may need to ask ourselves where do we choose not to see God in our life?

Then we travelled down towards the Sea of Galilee ( which is the water in the photos above) to the Primacy of Peter. This area is where Jesus spent his years ministering to others, it is also where Peter was made the first Pope. The church has a large rock symbolising Peter being the foundation stone of our church.

Wow!!! How beautiful. It is so true what u said about God always being with us except when we choose him not to be. What wonderful photos. I bet u feel a special feeling or connection being there. The churches and Basilicas look so beautiful.
